Ways to treat worry and sadness
Because of the pressure we face in life from material and psychological conditions, this leads to a feeling of sadness, and sometimes sadness reaches depression. To a high stage of sadness, worry and depression, one of the most important reasons for sadness is distance from religion and dissatisfaction with fate and destiny.
What are the most important ways to treat worry and grief?
- Ask forgiveness a lot. Always be of those who remember the Lord Almighty. If you feel distressed, stand up and pray two rak’ahs to the Lord Almighty. In getting closer to God, there is a life that the one who does that does not realize!{So whoever follows My guidance shall neither go astray nor be miserable} (Taha: 123)
- Convictions must be established within you that life is fleeting and that we live in order to work and live in the earth only as the Lord Almighty told us, so we must realize the reality of the world and that everything is fleeting except the Lord Almighty.
- The tendency to exercise, and one of the advantages of exercising is that it empties the negative energy that is inside us, and exercise secretes hormonal substances for happiness.
- Seek the help of a close friend or the help of your father or mother. Tell your psychological and personal problems and your troubles in life to the people closest to you.
- Give money in charity and always do good, many of us go through sadness and depression, and from personal experiences I gave charity to God Almighty and help the needy, I found that my problems ended, do not always neglect charity so that God blesses you with goodness and wellness.
- Hiking in places that contain picturesque nature, I always go to spacious places that do not contain noise and disturbance, because sitting in spacious places gives depth of vision and the ability to think with a clear mind, unlike closed places.
- Always go to read useful books and positive novels, read in the field of human development, this field expands the horizons of thinking.
- Good work by helping friends and relatives as much as you can, this makes you feel content, inner peace and think positively.
- You must realize that God loves you, and that is why He afflicted you, and the Messenger of God told us about that in the noble hadith, “If God loves a people, He tests them.” Your knowledge that God is always with you gives you reassurance, so why do you grieve?
- Think positively about finding solutions to the problem in which you are located, identify your main problem and develop a plan to solve it and an alternative plan, and imagine what will happen in the worst case and try to prevent it, as a result of the pressures we are exposed to in life, we have always expected the worst, but the Lord Almighty tells us in a hadith Qudsi on the authority of Abu Hurairah - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: God Almighty says: (I am as my servant thinks I am, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me to himself, I remember him to myself, and if he remembers Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly better than them.) Bukhari and Muslim .
