Travel prayer
The prayer of the traveler is answered

Supplication is one of the things that brings the servant closer to God (Almighty and Majestic), where the servant asks and begs for what he wishes from God in the form of a supplication, or a request for forgiveness and pardon for every sin he has committed.

And there are supplications that the servant must supplicate at certain times in order for God to grant them success and protect them in these times, such as the supplication for exit, the supplication for travel, the supplication for exams, and others.

The Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) has guided us on the virtue of supplication, and we will talk about the supplication of travel and its virtue with God (swt), and the evidence for answering the supplication, and we will also tell you about some of the various supplications for the traveler.

Is the prayer of the traveler answered?

  • Rumors abounded and spread among people about the response of a traveler’s supplication, but we must make sure of this first that supplication is the easiest way to communicate with God (swt), and there are times when supplication is answered, such as the supplication of the fasting person when he breaks his fast, the supplication at night prayers, the supplication of the sick, the supplication of the mother for her child, and the supplication travel time
  • And this is what our Messenger Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) also said. The traveler, throughout the duration of his travel, will have his supplication answered until he returns, but with conditions. Not every traveler will have his supplication answered.
  • He may be a usurer or a perpetrator of indecency, or his food may be forbidden, so their supplication is not accepted at all, because the acceptance of an invitation to travel has conditions also that do not apply to any person who has been said to be a traveler whose intention is not sound and wants harm to others, so the supplication must be preceded by good faith and sincerity God (Almighty).

Talk about the prayer of the traveler answered

  • Among the evidence that was mentioned and indicates that the supplication for the traveler is answered is the presence of this in the honorable prophetic Sunnah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said: “Three supplications are undoubtedly answered: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of the father for his child.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and classed as hasan by Al-Albani. .
  • The meaning of the hadeeth is that these three supplications are: the supplication of the one who has been wronged is not rejected, and the supplication of the traveler and the father for his child is undoubtedly answered.
  • The intent is not for him to return, that is, when he returns from his residence from his travel, because if he resides in the place of travel, then he will be like him like the rest of the people, but all this with matching the conditions that we mentioned for accepting the lawsuit, including sincere repentance to God (the Almighty), and not supplicating against any individual. With evil, the intention is for good only.

Supplications Variety for the responsive traveler

There are many different prayers that the traveler says on his travels, and they are prayers that are beloved by God (the Almighty) and His Messenger Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace), which are:

  • “God is great, God is great, God is great, glory be to Him who made this subject of mockery to us, and we were not able to associate it with Him, and to our Lord we shall return. And the caliph in the family.

It has also been said:

  • “May God entrust you with your religion, your trust, and your last deeds. May God provide you with piety, forgive your sins, and make goodness easy for you wherever you are.” These are some of the supplications that every Muslim traveler prefers to say.
