The virtue of sleep remembrance

Dhikr is the easiest of acts of worship in which the servant does not bear any trouble and can do it at any time and in any way.

  • The remembrance of sleep is considered an impenetrable fortress for a Muslim that protects him from the evil of Satan and his whispers.
  • The servant draws closer to his Lord, as it is a monologue between the servant and his Lord, and one of the hidden acts of worship that does not tolerate showing off, so it is pure to God.
  • Sins are forgiven and the servant renews his repentance to God before he sleeps.
  • Also, reading Surat Al-Mulk prevents the torment of the grave and intercedes for its owner on the Day of Resurrection.

His Throne are the heavens and the earth, and their preservation will not wither Him, and He is the Most High, the Great (255). Verse - 255 - from Surat Al-Baqarah. 3. The Messenger believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and the believers each believe in God and His angels and His books and His messengers. Our Lord, we have sinned, and do not bear it We have a burden just as You placed on those before us. Our Lord, and do not burden us with what we cannot bear, but pardon us and forgive us and have mercy on us. You are our Lord, so be victorious. Against the disbelieving people. Remembrance of sleep from the Sunnah of the Prophet

  1. O Allah, I ask You for wellness in the world and the hereafter. Oh God, I ask you for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, my world, my family, and my money. Oh God, cover my faults and secure my splendor. Oh God, protect me from before me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being assassinated from under me.. One time. Whoever says it, may God protect him from all sides.
  2. O God, Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Great Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, so create love and intentions, and send down the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock you are grasping. O God, You are the First, and there is nothing before You, and You are the Last, and there is nothing after You, and You are the Manifest, and there is nothing above You. Something, and you are the inner, and there is nothing without you. Pay off our debt and free us from poverty... just once.
  3. Oh God, you created my soul, and you take it to life. Its death and its life are yours. If you give it life, protect it, and if you cause it to die, open up to it. Oh God, I ask you for well-being.. once.
  4. Oh God, I have surrendered myself to You, turned my face to You, entrusted my affairs to You, and turned my back to You, out of desire and awe for You. There is no refuge or refuge from You except to You. I believed in Your Book which You revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You sent... all at once.
  5. In your name, O God, I die and live... all at once
  6. Whenever God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wanted to lie down, he would place his right hand under his cheek and then say: Oh God, protect me from your torment on the day you resurrect your servants. Three times.
  7. If one of you gets up from his bed and then returns to it, he should shake off his lower garment three times and say the name of God, for he does not know what he left behind on it after him. And when he lies down, he should say: In your name, O God, you have placed me at my side, and in you I raise it. If you hold my soul, have mercy on it, and if you send it, protect it with the way you protect your righteous servants.. once.
  8. Glory be to God (thirty-three) and praise be to God (thirty-three) and God is Great (thirty-four).. Whoever says that when he goes to bed, it will be better for him than Khadim Al-Bukhari with Al-Fath 7/71 and Muslim 4/2091
  9. Praise be to God, who fed us, gave us drink, sufficed us, and sheltered us. How many are there for whom there is no sufficiency or shelter... all at once?
  10. Oh God, the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord of everything and its Sovereign, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself, and from the evil of Satan and his polytheism, and from committing evil upon myself or dragging it to a Muslim... just once.

Remembrance before bed

When sleeping, the soul of a person is in the hands of God Almighty, where sleep is called small death, and if God wants the servant to wake up again, and if his life has ended, he holds his soul and does not send it, so a person must repent to God before he sleeps and surrenders his soul to his Creator.

These are the sleep remembrances in addition to reading Ayat Al-Kursi, Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq, and Surat Al-Nas.

  • In your name, my Lord, I put my side, and in you I lift it up.
  • Oh God, you created my soul and you make it fulfilled for you its death and its life. If you revive it, protect it, and if it causes it to die, forgive it. Oh God, I ask you for wellness.
  • Oh God, protect me from your torment on the day you send your servants.
  • In your name, O God, I die and live.
  • Oh God, the world of the good and the rule, so the heavens and the earth, the Lord of everything and his royalty. Or his reward to a Muslim.
  • Oh God, I have surrendered myself to You, delegated my affairs to You, turned my face to You, and turned my back on You, out of desire and desire. As, there is no refuge or escape from you except in You, I believed in Your Book which You sent down and in Your Prophet whom You sent.
  • He brings his palms together, then blows into them and recites in them: {Say: He is God, the One} and {Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak} and {Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of people} and wipes as much of the body as he can, starting with them on His head, face, and front of his body.

Remembrance of sleep anxiety

Many people suffer from a lot of anxiety during the night and wake up from sleep continuously, and some also suffer from insomnia and the inability to sleep for long periods, and these supplications are taken from the Sunnah of the Prophet for those who suffer from insomnia and anxiety during sleep.

Remembrance of disturbing dreams

Many suffer from disturbing dreams and nightmares, and in order to treat this problem, care must be taken to listen and read the Qur’an on a daily basis, and the Muslim must be keen to perform all the obligatory prayers, and the remembrances before bed will rid you of disturbing nightmares, and if the matter continues even after doing these things, you can She resorts to legal ruqyah and plays Surat Al-Baqara at home every day.

These are the supplications that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to call.

  • O Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
  • O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, heal me, and provide me with sustenance, for these will gather your world and your hereafter.”
  • A lot of seeking refuge from the accursed Satan, and the basmalah and seeking forgiveness.

Remembrance of sleep for children

Parents must raise children to learn the remembrance of God and abide by the honorable Sunnah of the Prophet, and they must be trained every day to recite sleep remembrances and explain to them the virtue of reading them and the great reward that we receive when reading them.

Remembrance of sleep Surat Al-Mulk

Reading the remembrances of sleep with Surat Al-Mulk, and it was reported that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said (Whoever recites Blessed is He who has the kingdom in His hand every night, God will prevent him from the torment of the grave)

The Companions, may God be pleased with them, called Surat Al-Mulk the Invincible, as it prevents the torment of the grave for those who read it every day, and it also protects the Muslim from the evil of Satan and his whispers and protects him from any evil during sleep.

Ruling on reciting sleep adhkaar for the side

It is known that the one who is in a state of impurity is forbidden to hold the Qur’an or read the Holy Qur’an until he purifies himself, as the Qur’an is only touched by those who are purified. But if he wants to recite the remembrances, whether the evening or morning remembrances, sleep or any remembrance, there is nothing wrong with that, even if he recites verses from The Qur’an is with these remembrances, and Imam Malik said about that (the junub does not recite the Qur’an except the verse and the two verses when he lies down, or he seeks refuge in rising and the like; not on the side of the recitation.

Evening prayers

The evening remembrance is one of the Sunnahs of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and it is considered the impenetrable fortress in which the Muslim is protected from the evil of the accursed Satan, and God protects him with his eye that does not sleep from all the temptations and evil of the world, and every Muslim must be keen to remember God at all times.

[Ayat al-Kursi - The Cow

We make no distinction between any of His messengers. And they said We heard and obeyed. Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return. God does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. It is for it what it has earned and for it is what it has earned. Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, and do not burden me. We have a burden just as You placed on those before us. Our Lord, and do not burden us with what we cannot bear, but pardon us and forgive us and have mercy on us. • Our evening and evening belongs to God and praise be to God. There is no god but God alone with no partner. To Him belongs dominion and to Him is praise, and He is capable of all things. My Lord, I ask you for the best of this night and the best of And I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and bad arrogance. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from torment in the Fire and torment in the grave. Once
  • Oh God, You are my Lord, there is no god but You, You created me and I am Your servant, and I adhere to Your covenant and promise as much as I can.
